* Because of the nature of the event and the course, a minimum total of 3 sculling points will be required in both the Intermediate 3 Open and Women's 4x- events. Similarly, bearing in mind that Masters events are age- and not points-linked, Masters crews are requested to be confident of their abilities before entering.
Entries
This year the Regatta will again be limited to approximately 140 entries. In the event of over-subscription, preference will be given to entries which are complete and have been paid for. In the case of insufficient entries to form what it considers a viable event, the Committee reserves the right to either offer to transfer the entry to the next higher class, or cancel the event as it may decide.
ENTRIES MAY ONLY BE MADE ON-LINE.
The British Rowing on-line entry system will be available for making entries from 23 April up to 1800 hours on Saturday, 8 May 2010. Payment cannot be made on-line, but must be sent to the address below. On-line entries should NOT be duplicated on paper. The draw will take place at Vesta Rowing Club on Sunday, 9 May at 1000 hours. Paper, 'phoned, faxed and/or e-mailed entries will not be accepted.
Cheques for entry fees must be made payable to PUTNEY TOWN REGATTA and sent to DR A.P.RUDDLE, 59 BERKELEY COURT, WEYBRIDGE, SURREY, KT13 9HY. Telephone 01932-220401
Clubs are requested to note that no crew or boat may be entered for more than two events and that whilst every effort will be made to accommodate competitors and coxswains doubling-up and the use of a boat by more than one crew (all to be clearly indicated at the time of entry), in the event of this delaying the Regatta, crews may have to withdraw.
Safety
Crews are reminded that all coxswains must wear a lifejacket and all boats must carry the appropriate identification code.
Centenary Regatta (2011)
The 100th anniversary of the first Regatta will be in 2011. To mark the event, all clubs racing in 2010 will be entitled to entry in 2011 at £1 per seat, to the extent of the number of 2010 competitors. For example, a club racing 1 x 8o, 2 x 4+ and 4 x 1x in 2010 will be entitlted to 23 seats at £1 in 2011 (extra entries from the same club will pay the full entry fee, pro rata if appropriate).

Information on substitutions and a form to complete them on is available on the substitutions page.
